Due to the BeeGees’ success in the 1970s, Barry and Robin Gibb wrote songs for a variety of performers. They were commissioned by Streisand to write a complete album for her, which became “Guilty.” In the latter part of 1980, Barry and Robin’s song spent three weeks at the top of the US Billboard Hot 100 list.
