Products containing acids include vinegar, glass and window cleaners, dishwasher detergents and rinses, toilet bowl cleaners, drain cleaners, concrete cleaners among others.
Be careful to read the instructions when mixing the products with bleach or chlorox.
Adding Bleach with Other Cleaning Products
Bleach reacts with some oven cleaners, hydrogen peroxide, and do not risk even with insecticides. Pool chemicals frequently contain calcium hypochlorite or sodium hypochlorite and should not be mixed with other cleaning products.
What about adding bleach with alcohol?
Mixing chemicals is never a good idea, unless you know what you’re doing and are fully prepared for the reaction you will get.
