Blue Cheese Sauce

25 g butter
1 tbsp plain flour
150 ml milk
50 grams stilton or other blue cheese (chopped in small pieces or crumbled)
Optional: ground parsley or garlic salt

Melt the butter in a pan over a medium heat, stir the flour and let it cook for 1 minute. Pour the milk, stir constantly until the sauce is smooth and all the milk has been added. Bring the mixture to a simmer and stir the cheese. Cook until the cheese has melted and the sauce has thickened slightly, then season to taste and serve. You can also add ground parsley or garlic.

I really love blue cheese but I don’t know how to make it myself. I love garlic but garlic salt is too salty for me. Is there garlic leaves or any alternative?

There is also a garlic leek and it is edible when young. If none, you can buy chive as an alternative. It taste like garlic and onion.
