Does the java sea have sharks?

The pigeye shark or Java shark (Carcharhinus amboinensis) is an uncommon species of requiem shark, in the family Carcharhinidae, found in the warm coastal waters of the eastern Atlantic and western Indo-Pacific.

This is located in Indonesia with a lot of swimmers on the area, isn’t it dangerous?

It is in Indonesia and tourists can even have close encounter with baby sharks. There are a lot of resorts in the area.
