Environmental Planning Application for Licensure Examination Requirements

ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNER

  1. NSO / PSA Birth Certificate
  2. NSO / PSA Marriage Contract (for married female applicants)
  3. Transcript of Records with scanned picture and Remarks “For Board Examination Purposes”
  4. (First Timer & Repeater)
  5. College Diploma Valid NBI Clearance (First Timers & Repeaters)
  6. One (1)Certificate of Good Moral Character from any of the following:
  • Barangay
  • Church
  • School
  • Employer
  1. OJT Certificate or in Service-Training signed by the applicant’s immediate supervisor
  2. Certificate of Professional Civil Service Eligibility (for incumbent government planners only).
  • Graduate degree in Environmental Planning, Urban and Regional Planning, City Planning, Town and Country Planning and/or Human Settlements Planning.
  • Post-graduate Diploma in Environmental Planning, Urban and Regional Planning, City Planning, Town and Country Planning and/or Human Settlements Planning with at least one (1) year on-the-job training, as required under R.A. No. 10587.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Planning, Urban and Regional Planning, City Planning Town and Country Planning and/or Human Settlements Planning, or it’s equivalent, and with two (2) year on-the-job training, as required under R.A. No. 10587.
  • Master’s or Doctorate Degree in either Architecture, Engineering, Ecology, Economics, Geography, Geology, Social Science, Environmental Management, Natural Resources Planning, or other related disciplines acceptable to the Board, and with five (5) years of on-the-job training.Applicable only until June 21, 2018. The on-the-job training required in this Section shall be undertaken under the supervision of the applicant’s immediate supervisor, in an agency or organization engaged or involved in environmental planning functions or programs, as may be determined by the Board.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in either Architecture, Engineering, Economics, Public Administration, Law, Social Work and Community Development or Sociology or other related disciplines acceptable to the Board, and with five (5) years of 0n-the-job training. Applicable only until June 21, 2018. The on-the job training required in this Section shall be undertaken under the supervision of the applicant’s immediate supervisor, in an agency or organization engaged or involved in environmental planning functions or programs, as may be determined by the Board.

*Foreign citizens applying for the licensure examination shall submit the following documents:

  • Copy of the pertinent provision/s of the foreign law or international agreement on the reciprocity for the practice of environmental planning;
  • Certificate of Live Birth, Marriage Contract for married female applicants;
  • College Diploma and Transcript of Records, and Certificate of Equivalency issued by the CHED, in case the degree is obtained abroad; and
  • Certificate of Good Moral from any of the following: Bgy., Church, School, or Employer. All documents issued/executed abroad shall be duly authenticated by the Philipine Embassy/ Consulate stationed in such foreign country, accompanied with the official English translation thereof, whenever applicable
