Puto cheese is now relatively easy to supply and may be a top seller in several chain bakeries round the world. So I figured it might be an honest idea to share this recipe with my readers in order that they could make it themselves.
All things considered, it is a very simple recipe. If you already skills to form plain traditional puto, we just got to add another step and, of course, good timing, which is adding a strip of cheese halfway through the method .
INGREDIENTS:
✓2 cups flour
✓1 cup of powder milk
✓1 cup sugar
✓2 tbsp baking powder
✓1 pc. of egg
✓Few of salt
✓1 and 1/2 cup of water
✓1/4 cup of butter (melted)
✓pinch of salt
✓small slices of cheese (for topping)
✓puto molder
INSTRUCTIONS:

during a bowl , put the flour, powder milk, sugar, salt and leaven . Mix well

Add the egg and water then mix well.
Lastly add the melted butter and blend then put aside . -
Strain the mixture puto to form it fine and smooth.

Scoop and pour within the puto molder and arrange into steamer.

Cook and steam for about 8 to 10 min.

After 8 minutes put the slices of cheese on top of every puto and steam for an additional 2 minutes.

allow them to calm down then remove the cooked puto from the molder cups.

Serve and luxuriate in special puto cheese!
