Ocean produces oxygen?

The ocean produces over half of the world’s oxygen and absorbs 50 times more carbon dioxide than our atmosphere. It covers 70 percent of the Earth’s surface. The ocean transports heat from the equator to the poles, regulating our climate and weather patterns, according to experts.

This seems interesting. I have read in an article that there will come a time that ocean waters will be gone, is it the same with the oxygen that we are going to breathe in the future?

Hello again. Yes, there is a possibility that we might lose oxygen when we lost waters from the ocean. We still have trees and plants though for sometime, when they cannot absorb water anymore, there is a tendency that we will encounter that scenario.
