What is a healthy recipe with just a few ingredients that can be made quickly and will last a family for several days?

Soup with beans. For me, it was made with excellent northern beans.Simmer the beans for 3 minutes to eliminate the gas, then change the water. With a little pork, or pig butt, add a streak of lean pork fat. Add sliced carrots, onions, chopped tomatoes, a stick of butter, and a bay leaf when they’re approximately halfway done. Simmer until the vegetables are almost done, then season with salt and pepper. Add a can of chicken or vegetarian broth if you want more broth. Cook a pan of cornbread, the southern kind, not the sweet kind. Crumble the leftover cornbread into a bowl, add buttermilk, and eat it like cereal. Make biscotti, cut them in half, and serve with a dollop of butter and molasses as an alternative. Nothing like a huge southern supper, especially when it lasts many days.
