Schooner is a sailing ship rigged with fore-and-aft sails on its two or more masts. To the foremast there may also be rigged [one or more square topsails or, more commonly, one or more jib sails Bermuda sails (triangular sails extending forward to the bowsprit or jibboom).
This is what I watched from movies. Are schooner still sailing nowadays?
The last of schooner once-common craft had ceased trading by the middle of the 20th century. Some very large schooners with five or more masts were built in the United States from circa 1880–1920
