Which company had the original company name of ‘the Haloid Company’?

Xerography was the first automated device to create documents using a document feeder, scanning light, and rotating copying drum. Chester Carlson invented the image printing process using a metal plate coated with an electrically charged optical conductor and dry “toner” powder. Hollywood coined the term xerography from two Greek roots meaning “dry writing”. It has produced high-quality metal printing paper and plates that are superior to almost all other methods. Xerox also introduced the first automatic film printer, the Copyflo, in 1955. A smaller version of this was to form the basis of the 813 desktop copier.
