Nadia Comaneci of Romania became the first gymnast in Olympic history to receive a perfect score of 10.0 for her performance on the uneven bars in 1976 in Montreal. She went on to set six more perfect 10.0s, making her the youngest all-around Olympic gold medalist in history.
