What is a CDE Certificate?
A CDE certificate is a certificate of completion of the Comprehensive Driver’s Education (CDE) exam, which is a mandatory requirement for all driver’s license renewals in the Philippines. You will need to pass the 25-item CDE Validation Exam that covers a variety of topics, including road safety, traffic laws, and defensive driving techniques.
Where to Take the CDE Validation Exam
To get a CDE certificate, you must first take the mandatory CDE exam. The course is offered by the Land Transportation Office (LTO) and can be taken in any of their offices nationwide. The course is free of charge.
